Victory Pentecostal Church aligns with the doctrine of the United Pentecostal Church International and the mission to carry the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church. Victory Pentecostal Church is a part of that vision. We believe in the Oneness of God; the new birth experience as described in Acts 2:38; living a victorious, holy life; passionate worship; and more.
The Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.)
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we believe that it is essential to be led by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. This desire to follow the Spirit does not diminish our reverence for the Bible as the primary source of truth. We understand that, as an intelligent and loving Creator, God has chosen to reveal His message through Scripture—the written word, which is the most reliable medium for accuracy, preservation, and transmission across generations. When we read, study, and meditate on the Bible, we are hearing the voice of the living God, speaking to us today. Through His Word, we receive the message of transformation and the promise of eternal life.
About God
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we embrace the beautiful message of Scripture that reveals our Creator as our Savior. The very God against whom we sinned is the same God who forgives us. In His immense love for us, God chose to come in the flesh to save us—He gave Himself, rather than sending another. Our Creator-Savior is also the indwelling Spirit who is constantly present to guide, empower, and help us. God not only gave us instructions on how to live, but He also came to live among us. In His earthly life, He demonstrated how to live in perfect obedience to the Father and, through His sacrifice, He laid down His life to secure our salvation. Now, by His Spirit, He dwells within us, enabling us to live according to His will.
Jesus Christ, the one true God incarnate, is the source of everything we need: healing, deliverance, victory, and salvation (Colossians 2:9-10). By recognizing the fullness of God in Jesus Christ, we restore the truth of biblical faith and experience the power that the apostles knew.
About Sin and Salvation
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we believe that our experience and doctrine must align with the complete pattern outlined in Scripture. As we respond to the gospel and place our faith in Jesus Christ, we will follow the biblical steps of repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the reception of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2, 8, 10, 19). While we do not reject those who have not yet received the fullness of the New Testament experience, we encourage them to embrace all that God has promised for His people.
Ultimately, each person is accountable to God for their response of faith. The Bible is the ultimate authority on salvation. Salvation is made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a gift of grace, received by faith in Him. This grace is applied, and faith is expressed, when a person obeys the message of Acts 2:38, receiving the new birth that Jesus promised.
About the Gospel of Jesus Christ
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection). (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)
About Christian Living
As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we believe that holiness is a vital and inseparable part of God’s plan for the salvation of the whole person from the power and effects of sin. Holiness is not a burden, but a joyful privilege, a beautiful expression of abundant life, and a blessing that comes from God’s grace. It is a glorious way of living that leads to freedom and empowerment. The life of holiness fulfills God’s original design and purpose for humanity. For the Spirit-filled believer who loves God, holiness is not only the normal way to live—it is the only way to live.
Worship
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we believe that worship is not an exception, but the very purpose of human existence. The question is not if people will worship, but who and how they will worship. God calls us to worship Him with passion, surrendering every area of our lives to His glory. Every action, every attitude has the potential to honor God. Jesus came to draw all people to Himself, regardless of their backgrounds, and He continues to call us to genuine, heartfelt worship today.
Gifts of The Spirit
At Victory Pentecostal Church, we believe that God is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). As Spirit-filled believers, we are called to exercise simple faith, trusting God to work through us and to receive His miraculous gifts. We also believe that the gifts of the Spirit, which He has already placed within His Church, can be stirred up to meet special needs and strengthen the body of Christ. Whenever challenges arise, we are called to believe that God can work through us to bring about His will.
On the Day of Pentecost, Peter declared that God would pour out His Spirit on all flesh, promising that this Pentecostal experience was not limited to the early church, but was for “all those afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:39).
This life-transforming promise is still available today. Around the world, across all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds, people are encountering the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. We invite you to connect with Victory Pentecostal Church that celebrates this powerful Pentecostal experience.
About the Future
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
